Dark Knight
By Karen
Merciless be the journeys,
that beckon your plight.
You come to me today on what horse,
my fighting knight?
Obeying your king's command
you boldly ride on,
leaving emptiness within me
moments after you've gone.
Little will you speak of the journeys that be.
Gone for what seems an eternity.
However treacherous, you hesitate not.
Your skills and valor, greatly sought.
You ride two horses, neither the same.
Proudly a warrior, many knowing your name.
A golden shadow, valuing justice, with loyalty rare.
The heart of the man, so willing to care.
Dressed in black and also in white,
My love is captured by
a man, known as Dark Knight.
